Technician Licensing Classes sponsored by the Cabarrus Amateur Radio Society, Concord, NC
For those not currently holding an Amateur Radio Operator's license.
Classes will be held at the McGill Baptist Church, 5300 Poplar Tent Rd. Concord, NC beginning Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Classes will be on Jan. 17, 19, 24, 26, 31, and Feb. 2. Classes will begin at 7:00 PM and last from 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Participant cost will be the cost of the Gordon West WB6NOA Technician Study Guide, $23.00. The Cabarrus ARS buys the book in bulk and receives a discount, which is passed on to the student, and the club picks up the shipping costs. The other cost is the $12.00 examination fee on the night of February 2 which is testing night. Note: After you pass your FCC exam there will be a $35.00 application fee charged by the FCC through their payment portal before the FCC will process your test results.
